Program

Thursday · Sep 17, 2026

The Local Scene

The city on foot. From the gold-leafed halls of Museo Santo Domingo to the rooftop calm of Amá Terraza, through textile rooms, the lithographic press at La Máquina, the paintings of Jesús Villafán. Lunch at Tierra del Sol — a tribute to corn, beans, and cacao. The day ends with live music and a panoramic Oaxacan night at La Jícara.

02

Friday · September 18, 2026

Clay, Wood and Territory

Into the Central Valleys. The pyramids of Monte Albán at dawn, then the color-soaked workshop of Jacobo and María Ángeles, where alebrijes grow from imagination and patience. A visit to Manos que Ven — clay sirenas shaped by touch. Lunch at Almú in Tilcajete. The night closes over cocktails at La Selva and dinner at Zandunga.

03

Saturday · September 19, 2026

Market, Art and Mezcal

A day that moves from the noise of the market to the silence of clay. Centro de las Artes de San Agustín opens the morning; the ceramics workshop at Taller 3x3 takes the hands somewhere else entirely. The afternoon belongs to mezcal: a pairing lunch at A Medios Chiles, where agave and fire and time become something to drink slowly.

Art and Craft

The valley as a long, unhurried read. Teotitlán del Valle market at its most alive, then the weavers and makers of Taller 8. The ancient geometry of Mitla at midday. Lunch under the shade of El Milenario, and a final pause beside the Árbol del Tule — two thousand years old and still here.

Constanza Nivón

Cultural Promoter

Cultural promoter, multimedia designer and audiovisual artist with over 10 years of experience in cultural and artistic projects.

Her work spans festival management, artist liaison, curatorial strategy and content production for exhibitions and galleries. She guides curated cultural and gastronomic experiences through Oaxaca — studio visits, market routes, tasting sessions — connecting people with the living culture of the region.
